He was born Friday, July 11, 1930 in Highspire to the late Ralph E. and Carrie (Lebo) Wise. He was predeceased by his loving wife Saundra M. (Forwood) Wise this past November.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Dick was a 1949 graduate of Hershey High School.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He proudly served in the United States Navy.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Dick retired from Amp Incorporated as a Quality Control Engineer; he was certified by the American Society of Quality Control Engineers and a member of the AMP Retirees Association.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He was a Mason and a member of Prince Edwin Spring Creek Lodge #486.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He was also a member of the Appalachian Amateur Radio Group and of Derry Presbyterian Church.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Dick was a Cub Scout and Boy Scout Leader in Pack and Troop #65.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He was an avid Penn State football fan.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Most importantly he was a loving husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">He is survived by 4 children, Holly Tarver and husband Dennis of Arlington, TX, Rick Wise and wife Lori of Lebanon, Gwen Weigle of Elizabethtown, and Lori Shiery and husband David of Enola; 10 grandchildren; and 5 great-grandchildren. He was predeceased by a sister, Roberta DeBaun; and a son-in-law, George Weigle.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 23rd at 3:15 PM with Masonic service at 3 PM in John S. Sell Memorial Chapel, One Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown 17022. Friends and family are invited for viewing from 2 PM until time of the service. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in Mt. Tunnel Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Miller-Finkenbinder Funeral Home &amp; Crematory, 130 N. Market St., Elizabethtown 17022.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif; font-size: 14pt;\">In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in his honor to the Masonic Village at Elizabethtown and mailed to Office of Gift Planning, One Masonic Dr., Elizabethtown, PA 17022 or American Diabetes Association, P.O.
