Timothy R. Fanus, 45, of 6140 Chambers Hill Road, Swatara Township, died Wednesday, December 28, 2005 in SCCI at Polyclinic Hospital.
He was a graduate of Central Dauphin High School, Class of 1978 and a member of St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, Past President and Financial Secretary of the Chambers Hill Lions Club, and he was an avid Ham radio operator and Penn State Fan.
He is survived by his parents, Anthony B. and Dorothy J. Lina Fanus; a brother, William L. Fanus of White Sulphur Springs, WV; a sister, Karen S. Hollis of Harrisburg; two nephews, Justin and Brenton Hollis; and his lovable dog, Ruffie. He was preceded in death by a brother, Robert A. Fanus.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, January 2, 2006 at 12:30 p.m., in St. Catherine Laboure Roman Catholic Church, with Rev. Msgr. Hugh A. Overbaugh, his pastor, as celebrant. Burial in Holy Cross Cemetery. A viewing will be held on Monday from 11 a.m. until 12:30 p.m., in his church.
Arrangements are being handled by Wiedeman Funeral Home, Steelton.
